What Is The Objective Of The NEPE Initiative?

To recognize New England organizations for their achievements in quality and performance, as a way to raise awareness among all New England based organizations about the importance of quality and performance excellence, as a competitive edge for improving New England's standing as a favored destination to live, work, and play.

To What Extent Are Members Asked To Share Their Performance Processes?

NEPE Initiative members voluntarily decide how much time and effort to devote to activities such as online collaboration, speaking engagements and inviting tours of their facilities.

Members are encouraged >to participate in the annual conference and regional conferences, >to provide basic materials to those who request it on their organization’s performance strategies and methods, and >to answer partner news media inquiries to promote and educate the New England community-at-work.

How Will My Organization Benefit By Joining?

Using performance management methods and processes results in better employee relations, higher productivity, greater customer satisfaction, increased market share, and improved profitability.

According to a report by a well known U.S. business membership organization, the majority of firms that have actively used a structured performance improvement system (e.g. Balanced Scorecard, Baldrige Criteria, etc.) for self-improvement, the evidence suggests a long-term link between use of such systems and measurably improved performance.
